Pentair 10" 1 micron Big Polyspun Layered Depth Filter

The Polyspun range water filters are cost efficient sediment pre-filters for a variety of residential and industrial applications.
 
Manufactured from pure 100% polypropylene
Designed for purity and chemical compatibility and will not impart taste, odour or colour to the liquid being filtered
The polypropylene construction provides superior chemical resistance and is not prone to bacterial attack
 
Micron:  10" 1 Micron Poly spun Filter - This removes smaller particles up to 1 micron in size, taking out very small particles in the water even parasites like Giardia.
 
Filter Cartridge Use
This 1 micron filter is the 2nd of either 2 or 3 filters in a water filtration system depending on how many filters your particular water filtration system includes. This filter removes fine particles from rain water, preparing it for UV sterilisation. 
 
Replacement Frequency
This water filter is a single use filter - designed for 1 year of use in most residential water filtration systems. If the rain catchment area is under trees or near busy roads, then filter replacement every 6 months is reccomended.  Those using this filter commercially should replace these filters every 3 months.
