TANKMAN Waiheke Island, a leading specialist in water tanks, pumps, and filtration systems, is seeking a motivated and reliable Certifying Plumber to join our growing team of seven. All water on the Island is sourced from roof rainwater or water bores (as there is no town supply on the Island) and we are Waihee's leading local rainwater systems supplier.
We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, sustainable water solutions to our clients, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for clean water.
What You'll Do:
Install, maintain, and repair water tanks, pumps, and filtration systems for residential and commercial clients.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to water pressure, flow, and filtration.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on their water systems.
Work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional results.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.

What You Bring:
Valid and current certifying plumbing license/certification.
Strong understanding of water systems and hydraulics.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Experience with water pumps, tanks and filtration is a bonus.

Role 3: Water Tank Cleaner
The job involves inspecting and cleaning customers house tank water systems using TANKMANs specialised cleaning equipment & methods.
If you are a strong fit motivated self-starter who enjoys working with your hands and are looking for a new challenge, apply today to join the growing Tankman team.
This is a 40 hour per week position (8am-4.30pm Mon-Fri), but we are also prepared to accept part time for the right person.
As a Water Tank Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, sterilising, maintaining and repairing water tanks, and gutter collection systems for our residential and commercial clients. You will be responsible for operating our water “tank vacuum system” to remove the sludge from the bottom of water tanks, and our ground operated “gutter vacuum system” for removing gutter debris to help customers keep their water tanks clean.
The ideal candidate will need to be strong and fit, and have experience in plumbing, or construction type work, or having worked on the tools for a number of years. In this role, you will be working on customer premises so good English communication skills and a friendly customer service demeanor are a must. A full clean drivers licence is required as you will be traveling in a company vehicle between client locations.

ROLE 4: Senior Water Technician (Role filled Nov 2024)
We are looking for a water technician to join our growing team on Waiheke Island.
As a Tankman Water Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing water tanks, pumps and filtration systems for our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will need to be strong and fit, and have experience in plumbing, or construction type work, having worked on the tools for a number of years.
In this role, you will be responsible for responding to service calls, diagnosing problems, and offering solutions to clients on their premises.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly customer service demeanor are a must. This is a full-time position, and full clean drivers licence is required as you will be traveling in a company vehicle between client locations. If you are a self-starter who enjoys working with your hands and is looking for a new challenge, apply today to join the Tankman team.
